SSL Summer 2011

Important Information about City

Hello Parents, Swimmers and SSL Fans,

Can’t believe that city is just two days away–where has the summer gone?! The city meet is held at Mt. Hood Community College located at  26000 SE Stark St. | Gresham, OR 97030. The doors for City open at 8am. The pool is located outside, and as you all know, city is going to be a long day, so please bring plenty of water, food, entertainment for your children, blankets, chairs and sunscreen. For your swimmers, please remember to bring many towels and extra goggles. There are large cement bleachers where parents and fans sit, so I highly recommend bringing folding chairs to sit in. Behind the team bleachers is a grassy area where kids are welcome to set up tents for the day. MHCC has a small food vendor, and there are some small restaurants nearby. MHCC does not allow bikes, skateboards or any other wheeled forms of transportation in their facility. They also do not permit pets on their facilities. Turn right to merge onto I-84 E/U.S. 30 E toward Portland Airport/The Dalles

 Take exit 16 for 238th Dr toward Wood Village

 Turn right onto NE 238th Dr

 Continue onto NE 242nd Dr

 Turn left onto SE Stark

 Turn right at SW Corbeth Ln

 Turn Right and End at MHCC

The weather on Saturday is estimated to reach 83 degrees, so dress accordingly in layers. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday for the big day! Thanks for such a great season!
